Weekend wanderings definitely help keep my mind healthy. The fresh air and a chance to take in wonderful scenery help clear the cobwebs and destress after a chaotic week. This weekend we had a wander around Pitlochry.
The route took us to the dam then along by the river, over a suspension bridge and back up round the other side of the River Tummel. We ended the walk with tea and a delicious scone (complete with cream and jam) at Hettie’s Tearoom.
This time of year is just splendid. If you ever are planning a visit to Perthshire then I would definitely recommend autumn. The colours in the landscape are fantastic. Saturday was a really lovely day to be out and about on our merry wanderings.
